Summary: This walk through will assist you with creating alarms (single and bulk) for specific sites/data points. Alarm notifications are received via email/text or both.
NOTE: In order to receive alarm notifications via text message, your phone number needs to be on file with Wellaware.
PRO TIP: All Wellaware units have 3 standard alarms when shipped out:
- Battery power, external/internal.
- Low tank level (15% left of max tank capacity)
- Very low tank level (10% left of max tank capacity)
Creating single alarm
Creating a bulk alarm
Adding existing alarm to a site
- To establish a single alarm for a specific site, please proceed to the desired site and access the ALARMS tab.
- Select the ALARMS option, indicated by the gear icon.
- Select the + ADD NEW option located at the top right-hand corner.
- Now you can choose what ASSET you would like to add an alarm to.
- Upon selecting your ASSET, proceed to designate the POINT for the alarm signal. In this instance, we will add the low voltage alarm for external power back to the unit. Please select External Voltage as your POINT and then click ADD.
- Next the EDIT ALARMS page will populate. From here you can customize your alarm settings.
- Alarm Name: Choose an alarm name. You can use the default that populates or create
your own name. This alarm is named Low Voltage Warning. - Priority: Choose between low, medium, high, and critical.
- Alarm Type: Type will vary based off the asset that is chosen. For this example Low Threshold will be used.
- Threshold/Status: Type will vary based off the asset that is chosen. However, this is
where you will choose the value of your desired trigger threshold. For this example when the external power drops below 10v, a low priority alarm will trigger. - Recommended Action: This is fully customizable to what you would like to see on the
HOME page for recommendations. - Required Acknowledgements: You will need to go in to LIFT to acknowledge the alarm
once action has been taken to clear it. - Auto acknowledge on clear: When an alarm clears on its own, it will auto acknowledge
the alarm. Ex: If the voltage alarm is set to alarm when a battery is at 10v or less. If the
voltage drops to 9.50v then goes back to 10.5v, the alarm will automatically clear.
Choose SAVE and you have successfully set up an alarm.
